About David Gonzalez

Son, student, soldier, businessowner (insurance agency, record company, network marketing), politician (non-elective), jazz singer/recording artist, father, coach, grandfather. I was fortunate to have been born in San Francisco USA to parents who encouraged me in all of my interests and pursuits. I served under a Mayor of my birth city who not only governed well, and was one of the most successful anti-trust attorneys in America, but was a man of the arts as well (poet, violinist). I learned from him that the ascension to power needs to be shared with family, friends and close associates in order to broaden your perspective. I also believe that one good deed should beget another good deed without the expectation of receiving something in return.

Lack of Daily Momentum?

Do you find yourself spending more time in trying to overcome the momentum swings (highs to lows) of motivation?

Attempting to find the right balance between not giving yourself enough time and needing too much time is a difficult task at best.

Through trial and error is how a person finds that right balance.

What works for me is spending 10 minutes (ok maybe 11) getting organized in the morning, and then 15 minutes again in the evening.

Setting aside that specific amount of time at the beginning of each day (this does not need to be for business related days, it could be household chores, volunteer work, ect.) helps get you motivated and then spending those 15 minutes at day’s end preparing for the following morning makes it easier to get up and click on the momentum starter.
