“Many of our Local 250A members have asked for optional disability insurance that would help out financially, by paying what Workers Compensation or SDI doesn’t pay.  We reached out to a long time friend of our union, DAVCO Financial & Insurance Services (included on our website under Important Links) to see what is available.
We are glad to announce that ongoing enrollment is now happening for NEW, Guaranteed-to-Issue (no denials for new policies!) optional Disability Insurance for on-the-job & off-the-job coverage. 
This new enrollment is entirely optional, and is available to all Local 250A members who are interested.  Nobody can be denied due to pre-existing conditions.”
